1.3 - Cell Addresses & The Name Box - "ByDoing" Exercise

"ByDoing" Exercise Objectives:

Understand how the alphabetical labeling of columns and the numerical labeling of rows combine to create a cell's address, which can be referenced within another cell's calculations.

Within the embedded spreadsheet below, complete the following two challenges and the self-grading boxes will change to "TRUE" when you have successfully completed the exercise. Please note that your answers will not save if you refresh this page. Challenge #1:

Within each of the cells from A1 to C5, type the address of the cell in order for each of the checks to turn green.

Challenge #2:

For each column (A, B, & C) in the 6th row, reference the value of the what is in Cell C5 to get the checks to turn green.
